Day 9

Tonight I am not going to Halloween parties despite an invite or two from distant acquaintances. Not hosting a spooky soirée as I've done in many years past. Not dressing up. Not decorating the house. I will not be on my stoop Thursday evening to hand out candy to greedy kids who didn't have the interest or resources to dress up. I will not be dressing up for the very very long very very busy clinic day at work on the 31st because a children's hospital has a no costumes policy. How festive. 

What a bust, I love Halloween. I can't wait for the day when it's fun for me again.
