Day 102

At least I'm consistent(ly procrastinating/avoiding/behind schedule/disappointing myself).

100+ days have come and gone. I don't think I learned anything. I think I'm the same mix of introverted and extroverted as I've ever been. Our relationship is in a good place but I don't think it has anythig to do with me writing junk every other day. I think the biggest challenge of this challenge has been a conflict of interest. The goal of daily writing was to better identify with my internal experience. My competing goal was to quietly and secretly and privately and anxiously survive the most internal experience of my life, the first trimester of pregnancy. It silenced a major part of my life to leave it out. But now that I'm "out" at 15 weeks and now that I've removed the pressure to write daily, perhaps I'll be more authentically introspective in my future writing.

  1. You know, when I suspected it might be you that was pregnant, I started thinking about how it might be super limiting in what you felt you could post in this supposedly raw, honest daily journal. I feel like that's a hard limit to place on yourself, so kudos to you for following this through despite that obstacle.

  2. I commend you for writing throughout what must be one of the most personal experiences in a woman's life. I hope that you are feeling good, inside and out. Sending love to you and A.
